The Worship Committee enhances the worship experience at Lake Toxaway UMC. It is chaired by Beth Holimon, working alongside Pastor Marcus Dodson.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling ushers, acolytes, and greeters
- Coordinating altar cloths, banners, and flowers
- Preparing Communion
- Decorating the sanctuary for Christmas and Easter
- Coordinating Coffee Hour and fellowship gatherings
- Overseeing special services and events
Altar Flowers
The sign-up calendar is in the Fellowship Hall. We do not place flowers on the altar on Communion Sundays (the first Sunday of each month). Please bring flowers on Sunday morning and take them home after the service. Fresh flowers from your yard are always welcome. Contact Beth Holimon for questions.
